The project that started in the fall of 1999 with a trip up to Barrie Ontario with my son and good friend Bill Merkley to pick up an old truck, that did not even run, was completed last week. When I started the restoration project I said I would have the truck on the road in the spring. I meant the spring of 2000. Everyone that had done a project like this had told me that I was right, that the truck would be on the road in the spring. But the spring of what year. Well the year will be 2015. Fifteen years is a long time to complete a project but with the help of so many people and the support of my dear wife Joan it is finally done.
